Kent's Excuse #12: ISP Issues and Vacation
My family is currently switching Internet Service Providers since they where charging more then they were supposed to (and never fixing it even after constantly pestering them about it). So, my internet won't be back till Thursday, which wouldn't be a issue for the comic if it weren't for the fact that I'm leaving for a short vacation from Thursday to Saturday.
In other words, no comic today or Saturday, but in return you will be getting two bonus comics for the 4th of July instead of one drawing, plus the usual comic next Wednesday (ya know, probably :P ).
On the upside, the downed internet gave me the time to perfect Threadbound's gameplay mechanics, HUD, and all of Taylor's animations! I'll hope to release a gameplay demonstration video and journal explaining the new mechanics soon! :D
PS: I'm posting this from my local library if you where wondering how I posted this.

Kent's Excuse #11: Preparing the Preparations
I've been working on a new style for the Cheetah Kid! Comics, so having to switch between the new style and the old one when I'm drawing the current arc has been a bit difficult.^^;
Also, I'm going to be opening up for commissions soon! I felt kinda silly when I realized how easy it was to organize that kinda thing, and I could've been doing it for quite some time now. But the point is that it's coming soon, and I'll be listing the prices and rules soon.
Beyond that, I've been concepting and working on getting a few ideas done. I go over what I'm doing in an upcoming Chaoko Draws, but until then, I'll let the drawing itself explain it all.;P

Happy Pokemon Day!
Considering there was gonna be a whole arc/game for Cheetah Kid! about Pokemon, I thought it only proper to participate in Pokemon Day! It's their 20th anniversary after all, and I've been playing these games for years.
The reason Kent and Wolfina have two of the the Gen 2 starters (Cyndaquil and Totodile) is because Pokemon Monarch and Lavender was supposed to mainly have Pokemon from Gen 2, as it was my first and favorite Gen to play. I assumed Kent and Wolfina would choose these two, and Token would take Chikorita. The Pokeball Kent is holding is a Quick ball, and the one Wolfina is holding is a Luxury ball, both matching their characters.
I also realized that I really like the eye style that the artist for Pokemon does, it's very unique :D

Kent's Excuse #10: Too Many People!
There's actually a lot to explain here:
Firstly, I've been given the okay to start animating the first Housepets! Animated Web Series episode. That'll be coming out within the coming week or two.
Secondly: As seen on twitter, I released a concept sheet for a 3D model of Crash Bandicoot, announcing that I'll be doing something for Crash's 20th Anniversary like a few other game developers. It won't be anything big like a new HD Crash game or something like that, but it'll just be a small little "thank you" game in my own style. I'll probably be re-making some of my favorite levels from the first game in the GGMaker engine. The game should release September 8th (obviously), which is hopefully around the release of DTH
Thirdly: I've figured out what Pili is going to be as a game, and have drawn a few concepts and done a bit of writing for it. I plan on beginning development on the game after Diggy the Huskey is released this year. Either that, or it will begin development in 2017 in hopes of releasing it that year.
Fourthly: Diggy the Huskey is moving along in development as usual, nothing to report there really.
Fifthly: I've decided to hold back on Threadbound's development until I've gotten everything figured out for it. It's un-doubtably going to be the biggest game I've made, so I want to take my time and only work on it when I'm ready to. It's release date is still looking very distant. For now, I'll just be going over some ideas and details with D-Rock and see what we can come up with.
Sixth...ly: And then there's Housepets!: Tails of Babylon... that thing is everywhere right now. x3

Valentines Day 2016
It's weird, Valentines Day is the one major holiday I don't really care about, yet it's the one I never skip doing art for every year.

Kent's Excuse #8 - After Party
The anniversary drawing took quite some time, didn't have time to finish today's comic. Woops! ^^;

Kent's Excuse #4 - UNDERTALE
This is an excuse I will stand behind and defend to no ends. Undertale, a new RPG in a similar style to earthbound, is by far one of my favorite RPG's of all time. I spent 14 hours playing that game to perfection(it's only 5-8 hours long) and it was worth every minute. The catch of the game is that it's an RPG where you don't have to kill ANYONE, and if you do kill even a single enemy/character the story changes drastically... and you are considered a murderer. How does this work? Well, instead of attacking an enemy, you can simply talk to them or do something specific, or nothing at all. If you do everything in the nicest way possible, you may never even have to hit anyone either.
Also, each enemy including random encounters could be considered "a character". They have likes, dislikes, personalities, insecurities, wishes, ect. All of which play into how you can avoid fighting them. This alone makes it hard to want to kill anything (though it's understandable with SOME enemies because they can be real jerks sometimes, still I never hurt them). Even the most despicable of enemies can be befriended, as horrible as they may seem or look.
I got the "True Pacifist Ending", which is the best ending possible. After going through that, as hardcore of a completionist with games as I am, I refused to do another playthrough of the game unless I tried to get the same ending again. I couldn't bring myself to kill any of the characters in this game (though I've seen other people do it and I want to cry). Plus, if you do the ending where you kill everyone (like Pal did), you have to fight one of the hardest/coolest/saddest bosses in the game. I don't wish that boss on anybody after seeing it play out
On top of this, the gameplay is always engaging and keeps you active. It's hard to describe the combat, but when you are avoiding attacks it's kinda like a top down shooter/platformer(?). You'd have to see it to understand, it's pretty unique. From the music to the animation/effects the game is appealing to the senses. The writing and humor in the game is spot on as well, and knows exactly how to shift tones at the right times.
Not to mention the game has small things in the game that add a certain "charm" to it. For example, after getting the True ending there is a portion where you are allowed to take a walk back through all the areas in the game and talk to every single character and enemy you've ever encounter, all the way to the very beginning of the game. They all have new dialogue regarding the current events of the game, even if it's just a small sentence or two. I spent a whole 100 minutes talking to everyone again, and I'm very glad I did. It's little attentions to detail like that that you've gotta appreciate.
I highly recommend this game, and want you to play it the way YOU want to. Not how others tell you to play it. The game is truly an experience to be had, and it's only $10 on steam. I won't judge you for your actions... though if you kill certain characters I will absolutely judge you XD. And if you wanna do the genocide playthrough... well, I'll let the game deal with you then. :3

Happy Mom Day!
Well, at least over here in 'Murica. Luckily I did this one before my laptop started to die (I had no idea when Mother's day was).
The comic should return in about one or two more weeks at most, so... well I'd say stay tuned but that's like, A LONG TIME from now. Go tune in to another comic for a bit, then come back.
You can download it on my DA page.

Happy Singles Awareness Day!
Well, I'd normally do some Valentines day thing, but everyone around me keeps talking about how its basically "Singles Awareness Day", so I decided to take a different route on it. I haven't really cared about being in a relationship for a while, but since throwing the "LOVE IS GREAT! YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH SOMEONE OTHERWISE THIS HOLIDAY MEANS NOTHING (but candy :3) TO YOU!" seems to bother people so much I thought this would be a funny little bit to go on (oooooor it'll just make you more depressed so sorry ^^; ). Anyway, HAPPY SINGLES AWARENESS DAY/VALENTINES DAY!

Merry Gift Day 2014
Merry Gift Day everybody! Hope you had a great year, and have been enjoying the comics I've been posting. I know I've had a few hiccups here and there with updates and abandoned projects, but know that I still sincerely care about this series and it means so much that you people actually enjoy it. My only goal in life is to make art and help people, and just seeing that I can make someone feel a positive emotion even for just a brief moment is enough for me. I hope you will continue to read and enjoy this story as much as I do in the coming years!
See you in 2015!!!

Turkey Day 2015
Happy Thanksgiving everybody! (Or turkey day to make it more general)
This art style is probably my favorite styles to use, it's a shame I don't get to use it that often.

The next/first arc will begin next Wednesday, and if everything goes as planned I'll update on both Wednesday AND Saturday! So again thank you for all your help and support, I promise to give these comics all the effort I've got!
