Spiritual Sight
I'm gonna take this message to mention that I'm proud of that last panel cause I really couldn't think of anything witty to say here.

Tasha, The Epic Fight Killer
An early update cause today is finals day and I know I will not have the energy to post this once I get home.
Also, hello Tasha, took you long enough to show up in the comic again (oh wait in canon it hasn't actually been that long)

Actually Fighting Fire
We're back in business baby! (well, sort of)
I'm terribly sorry for being gone so long. I've had my new laptop for a bout 3 months, but I just never got back to drawing the comic because I was having a lot of doubts and just not really feeling it in general. I experimented with the style some more, tried a new comic format, and even considered making a game for it instead. In the end I came to the conclusion that the story could only work as a comic or a cartoon, so I decided to just take a break on it to just have fun with making stuff for a while. I almost canceled the comic all together. But after a few walks of rethinking the order or the plot, the length of each episode, and coming up with some new ideas I re-motivated myself to work on the comic again!
Although, this and next week are both finals weeks, so the next 3 comics make come in a bit late. But after next Friday I'll be completely free to work on it regularly again!
Also, I've started another form of web comic in the style of an "Choose your own adventure" game, but in the Housepets! universe. It's much like the comic Prequel or the Teltale games. It is titled "Case: Housepets!, and it updates as soon as enough players post their choice of what to do next. You can catch up and play it on the Housepets! forums here: http://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://www.housepetscomic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3898
It will eventually have it's own site as well, probably after the first chapter.
One last thing; I'll be going into more depth as to what my plans are for Cheetah Kid!, Diggy the Huskey, HP! Fanimated!, and other projects of mine on my deviant art soon. For Cheetah Kid!, I'll give you a hint: It involves special new types of episodes made just for the webcomic! Till then, enjoy!
Alt. Text: Man, that was the worlds longest fireball shot! Why did it take us so long to get out of the way?!

A Job Well Not Done
Again, sorry for being so late with this one and not posting the 4th of July comics. I hit a pretty weird art block with Cheetah Kid, this comic took around 2 weeks of work just to do. I can't really put a finger on why. I think my vacation made me a bit sloppy. I really don't think things will get evened out until I move out and get settled into college. The next month or two may be a bit rocky. Why is it always right when the arc is about to end?!
On top of that, my computer's having trouble charging again. I'm almost certain it isn't the new charger. Please come soon financial aid (and apartment so I can actually have a strong PC)

Icewatch
Sorry for the delay, had a lot of trouble with this particular page, which sucked for me because this is my favorite page in this arc on a comedic level.

Happy Pokemon Day!
Considering there was gonna be a whole arc/game for Cheetah Kid! about Pokemon, I thought it only proper to participate in Pokemon Day! It's their 20th anniversary after all, and I've been playing these games for years.
The reason Kent and Wolfina have two of the the Gen 2 starters (Cyndaquil and Totodile) is because Pokemon Monarch and Lavender was supposed to mainly have Pokemon from Gen 2, as it was my first and favorite Gen to play. I assumed Kent and Wolfina would choose these two, and Token would take Chikorita. The Pokeball Kent is holding is a Quick ball, and the one Wolfina is holding is a Luxury ball, both matching their characters.
I also realized that I really like the eye style that the artist for Pokemon does, it's very unique :D

Valentines Day 2016
It's weird, Valentines Day is the one major holiday I don't really care about, yet it's the one I never skip doing art for every year.

Kent's Excuse #8 - After Party
The anniversary drawing took quite some time, didn't have time to finish today's comic. Woops! ^^;
Also Token with his hair un-gel'd because why not.

Happy Second Anniversary!
Today (January 15th) marks the Cheetah Kid! comic's second anniversary as an official web comic! Technically, the comic has been out for 3 years, but wasn't considered an actual web comic (and all that came from that other year was deemed un-cannon).
I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for following the comic and dealing with my terrible random lack of updates, making this comic and seeing your reactions to it have filled me with so much joy, and I hope to continue this comic all the way to it's very distant end. I hope to keep you all entertained and inquisitive with the coming years. I'm trying to get back into the swing of a regular update schedule, and have even planned a few bonus comics and story arcs in the future.
Stay rad everybody! :D

Expect Fire
You have no idea how proud I am of that face.
Also, I may have to switch back to the 2 updates a week. Starting it up during the development of Castaway was a terrible idea because it drained all of my reserves in terms of posting comics. I have to start drawing ahead again.

The Boom Mobile
Kent finally gets to show off his speed at it's best (at this moment in time)!
Also, sorry if the updates begin to fluctuate for the next few days. With Castaway being released on the 25th, the preparation and cleaning up the edges has made me very busy as of lately...

Heroes At The Ready
SOMEBODY's clearly only ever done assigned missions of which never put him in serious danger because he's a kid and realistically speaking that'd be pretty bunked up... but this is a comic so who cares! Lets go!

Suddenly, Distant Explosions
Also, sorry if the pacing of this one seems a bit off. Due to my attempt to translate the cartoon script to be more comic like, The first two panels couldn't be in the last strip without 2 extra large panels so I put it in this one. The other panels were just condensed dialogue wise, but how sudden it is plays to the theme of the arc.
Also, a friendly reminder that you should come back SATURDAY as well. The new schedule has comics update on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. :)

Like Father, Kinda Like Son
Sorry to keep you waiting, I realized before I was gonna post this that it needed quite a bit of editing. I was trying to do a few comics in a short span, so I guess I looked over a few major details.
Also I should clarify a few things that aren't explained in this strip:
-Hoss' gimmick was that he was a gun slinger with perfect aim, however he never used his guns lethally. His guns were always a last resort against a criminal to disarm or disable them.
-Mr. McBoom was not apart of H.O.G
-Hog was a specific group of heroes that worked slightly different than regular heroes. For example; none of them had heroic titles, hence why Mr. McBoom reffers to Kent's dad just as Hoss.
-Kent doesn't need glasses like his dad, 95% of those of feline descent have perfect eye sight.

I honestly regret not retconning his outfit in the begining, it gets added onto later but for now it's so simple XD

Kent's Excusse #2 - He lost at Connect 4
Original Image: http://imagine-your-oc.tumblr.com/post/128187717960/imagine-your-ocs-like
I usually never do these art meme kinda things, but this one always makes me laugh everytime I see it. The comic for today just wasn't ready yet; the extreme heat hinders my ability to do almost anything with my laptop and I've been busy trying to work on some school work this week so I never found time to finish the strip. Since this already had a base, I though it would be a quick and good way to entertain you guys. Plus this scenario just seemed perfect for the Cheetah Kid! cast, it's so fitting to some of the silly stuff they do outside of the story (I don't often get to show that).
But seriously, full credit to that blog for coming up with this scenario, it's pure genius. XD

Mr.McBoom
Token could be his personal ring announcer with how well he's memorized that phrase.
Also, there's a new voting incentive for TWC! (been a long time since I made one of those) Click HERE to vote for Cheetah Kid! and see my new chibi style!

Welcome Mother Bunker
And that's how you leave a good first impression, in more ways than one, by more than one parties!
Edit: Sorry for the small text, I'll have to start using a larger font size. If you're having trouble reading it, go to the comic on my deviantART and click on it to zoom.
